Congratulations and happy knitting :)
It’s very pleasant to see things still green
and growing here in Saint Louis, rather than
covered in layers of snow and sub-zero temperatures
as we left behind in Anchorage.
The red of winter berries always catch my eye.
I happened upon these this morning.
The next few weeks are going to be a
whirlwind of travel, loving on family,
visiting friends and (my personal talent)
eating as much wonderful food as possible.
May the upcoming holiday be warm and
peaceful for you and your loved ones.
May you also find plenty of time to knit. xx

What is the weight of the yarn for the Frontenac, is there a less costly yarn you can recommend as I am not the best knitter in the world!
Barbara:
Clever Camel is a worsted weight yarn, but could also find itself in the range of an aran weight.
Lots of alternative yarns would work, depending on your preference and budget, but I would recommend finding one that has a blend that includes (25% or more) camel, alpaca or llama if that extra softness and drape appeals to you.
Shibui Merino Alpaca comes to mind!
I hope your holidays are filled with food, love and laughter!
Oh, the same to you, sweet Nicole! And might I add some ski-worthy snow for you? :) xo
