Hi.
Over the years, in my roles as a visual merchandiser, art director, freelance designer, and since 2012 solely designing knitwear, I’ve had a hand in creating many things that I’m proud to call my work. I downright love what I do.
My background (and degree) is in clothing & textiles. And that, for as long as I can remember, has always been my constant romance. It’s true. Open my handbag. You won’t find lipstick, you’ll find yarn and fabric swatches. To me, hand knitting reflects a beautiful way of creating fashion. The kind of fashion I will always love. No fashion shows. No fussing or forcing anything, simply making things you will keep for years, and everything is engaged in quality and creativity.
I learn something new every day, and every day I make intentional choices and carefully consider what impact those choices will have. I try to set the bar high. Not only do I care deeply about our planet, I care very much about the people who are connected to me and my work. From the subcontractors I work with, to the least frequent follower/customer, I strive to create, associate, and communicate in a way that will allow everyone to feel welcomed, respected, and valued.
Currently based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I’m designing knitwear and making yarn for my own personal label and sometimes for other brands as well. It is really important to me to create designs that are not just the latest trend but timeless investments meant to elevate your most favorite pieces. If I can support the evolution of your personal style in that way, I’m so happy.
Thank you for visiting. Come back often!
