Because the impact on the planet and sustainability is valued, the dying process for this yarn does not involve any depigmentation, and the yarn is minimally processed (no harsh chemicals used). The result is a rich, natural undertone, and a light fabric that will soften over time with washing and wearing. The fibers are ethically and respectfully sourced directly from the same Tibetan nomads that our dear friends at mYak Tibetan Fiber source their yarns.
